How to make a yummy fruit smoothie

We have a VitaMix blender. We did lots of research and found a good price. This blender makes it very easy to make a fruit smoothie. Here's what we put in it:

A banana, blueberries, two apples, some raspberries, about an inch of ginger, and at least one cup of green tea.

  1. I am sure it was delicious. I recently decided that I needed by bullet blender at work and loving every minute of it.

    In the morning I have whey protein, banana w/ part f-free milk/part water. Some mornings I add black cherries

    I switch between the whey proten and soy protein for my morning shakes.

    Deciding to make my own shakes has kept me away from Starbucks... two weeks so far of not buying from them...yippee

    For my 3:00pm snack I have fruit smoothie (strawberries/mango/melon/raspberries) w/ cranberry/pomegranite juice & water or at times I use gatorade instead.

    I want to do vegetable drinks too, my favorite is carrot w/ apples, need to get receipes for vegie smoothies.

  2. Looks good! I also have a smoothie in the mornings. I make some cashew milk and put in strawberries, bananas, blueberries, peaches, juice, flax and sometimes, if I remember, acidophilus. I make it and it lasts for 2-3 days. Yum! I'd like to use protein powder, but I haven't found one that I can tolerate yet. I think I'm allergic to something in it. : (
